In The Rafters

It's rave night at the clubs downtown. Species of all kinds are packed tail to tail together in the pits below me. Me? I'm sitting up in the rafters that ring the edges of the club, the lights flashing below me, leaning over the masses below me and enjoying the driving music my way.
A noise near me causes me to start. A pretty wolf girl is up here too. She's got pretty blue eyes, and she's looking at me from the corners of those baby blues while her face remains positioned towards the center of the club. She's got glow sticks hanging from her belt, and a large black earring through each of her ears.
Her head dips in a polite nod, and I nod back. That would've normally been it, but something made us stay up there together that whole night...

I think it's safe to say I'm extremely proud of this, despite the few errors in the lineart. Lots of experimenting with light was involved here, and I'm pleased how it came out. (Beware the size, though.) I might work something with that narrative chunk, too.
